(pictured below: in the first image, Trish and Andrew at the bee house entrance, and in the second and third image Andrew with Carla installing the mic in the observation hive)

plans: we have taken away a half worked frame of comb to embed a piezo into, in the hope it will be a more long term insertion into a hive and capture vibrations through and into the comb itself.
